Discover how CG Outdoor Furniture brought a luxury Dubai hotel’s outdoor vision to life with custom loungers, sofas, and rattan craftsmanship.
Turning a Desert Dream into Outdoor Luxury
Dubai is known for its architectural ambition and luxurious hospitality experiences. So when a prestigious hotel in the heart of the city invited CG Outdoor Furniture to furnish its outdoor spaces, we knew this was more than just a furniture order—it was a chance to showcase craftsmanship, creativity, and resilience.
From concept to completion, this project became a showcase of CG’s production capabilities and material expertise. We supplied a complete range of poolside loungers, deep-seated sofas, dining tables, and matching chairs, all tailored to meet the hotel’s functional needs and aesthetic vision. But beyond the silhouettes and colors, what truly made this project special was the master-level craftsmanship behind every piece.
Custom Comfort with Commercial Strength
The hotel’s design brief focused on three core goals: modern elegance, long-term durability, and comfort that welcomes guests from around the world. Our team responded with designs that blended thick, supportive cushions, powder-coated aluminum frames, and custom handwoven rattan finishes that delivered both structure and style.

Among the standout pieces were our poolside loungers, customized with adjustable backs and extra-wide seats. Designed for long hours under the desert sun, the frames were engineered to stay cool and resist corrosion, while the handwoven rattan added a soft, textural feel that elevated the entire pool area.
The hotel also selected our modular outdoor sofas, which feature a deep, low-profile frame wrapped in rattan and topped with quick-dry foam cushions. Each sofa section was designed to be reconfigured as needed, offering layout flexibility for events, private gatherings, or casual lounging.
We completed the look with elegant dining sets, where round tables and curved chairs created inviting outdoor dining moments. These pieces used the same materials as the loungers and sofas, maintaining a unified style across all open-air zones.
Rattan Craftsmanship: A Signature of CG
One of the defining elements of this project was the use of two distinct rattan weaving techniques—round rattan weave and flat PE rattan weave. These techniques require different levels of manual dexterity and deliver different visual effects, both of which added richness to the hotel’s design.
- Round rattan weaving gives a soft, sculptural look. Our artisans wove these elements by hand around curved frames, a method that requires precision and patience. The result? Sofas and chairs with subtle volume and organic texture.
- Flat rattan weaving, on the other hand, created smooth, clean lines—ideal for loungers and dining chairs. This technique offers a more contemporary look while remaining breathable and flexible, even under heavy use.
- All the rattan used was UV-resistant, waterproof, and colorfast, ensuring the appearance remains consistent through Dubai’s intense sunlight and shifting temperatures.
Our production team followed strict internal quality control standards throughout. Every welded joint on the aluminum frames was inspected for strength. Every woven surface was checked for uniformity and tightness. Every cushion cover was fitted, zipped, and tested under pressure. We don’t leave quality to chance—we build it into every step.

Why It Worked: Material, Craft, and Coordination
This project succeeded not just because of the quality of the products, but because of our deep coordination with the hotel’s design and procurement teams. Throughout the process, we adapted to material feedback, customized weaving patterns, and adjusted dimensions based on site conditions. Our flexible manufacturing and R&D team worked closely with designers to ensure every detail—from rattan color to cushion stitching—was exactly right.
Our clients appreciated how quickly we turned custom ideas into physical prototypes. And once the designs were approved, we followed up with detailed QC reports and finish samples before full production began.

Durability Meets Design in Harsh Environments
Dubai’s outdoor environment is beautiful—but demanding. Temperatures soar above 40°C. Sandstorms sweep across open terraces. UV rays are intense and unrelenting. This means that every product placed outside must be built for extremes.
We selected powder-coated aluminum as the frame material for its combination of lightweight strength and rust resistance. The rattan itself was chosen not only for beauty, but also for long-term resistance to color fading and brittleness. And all cushions were covered in solution-dyed, outdoor-grade fabrics that resist mold, water, and UV degradation.
This wasn’t just outdoor furniture—it was performance furniture with a luxury finish.
Third-Party Testing Available
If a project requires additional verification, we’re also happy to provide independent testing reports from TUV, SGS, or other trusted labs. These reports cover mechanical strength, weather resistance, and material safety—making it easier for our clients to meet regulatory or project-specific requirements.
